Do you enjoy cooking for large groups of people? Are you passionate about keeping your friends hydrated, caffeinated, and stocked with ice? Can you coordinate groups of volunteers to serve these needs? Join the Critical Northwest production team!
We’re looking for people to join the Hub and Life Support teams as co-leads.
Hub leads facilitate the community gathering space at Critical NW. This is where ice is sold, hot beverages can be obtained, workshops are held, volunteer opportunities are posted, and general relaxation can be had. This team:
- Manages ice sales and inventory
- Decorates and maintains the space
- Helps source coffee and tea donations for the event
Life Support fuels Critical NW by providing food and beverages to working volunteers. This team:
- Curates a grab-and-go pantry for production staff, packed with sundries like snacks, beverages, and sunblock
- Plans nutritionally balanced meals for on-shift leads
- Rides around the event delivering food and drinks to volunteers during their shifts
Life Support leads must be comfortable operating a golf cart and hold a current WA state Food Handler’s permit.
